Dialysis Nurse

Job Title: Dialysis Nurse

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Shift: 6a-6p | 3x12s

Patient Ratio: 1:3

Charting: EPIC

Acute care inpatient dialysis with exposure to ICU, Trauma Level I/II (preferred)

2+ years of dialysis nursing experience

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of dialysis treatment setup, AV fistula/graft cannulation, and vascular access care
• Experience with symptom management: fluid overload, hemolysis, hyperkalemia, hypotension, etc.
• Machine alarm troubleshooting (air foam detector, blood leak, UF alarms, etc.)
• Equipment knowledge: B. Braun Dialog, Baxter
• BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
• Familiarity with Myron L. Meter, conductivity testing, ultrafiltration, and ACT

Preferred Experience:

• Teaching hospital, trauma center, or community hospital
• Chronic outpatient or home dialysis
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and airway management
